Vampire remake tops ratings

Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire, the TV series adaptation of the author's like-named 1976 novel, took AMC+ to the top of Reelgood's streaming rankings for the week of Sept. 28 to Oct. 5. Ahead of the show's première, AMC had already renewed it for a second season. “This is only the beginning of an entire universe featuring enthralling stories and characters that capture the spirit of Anne Rice's amazing work,” said AMC'S president of original programming, Dan Mcdermott. The Netflix movie Luckiest Girl Alive, starring Mila Kunis and based on Jessica Knoll's 2015 like-named novel, came in second. Rounding out the top five, in order, were Netflix's limited series Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Disney+ movie sequel Hocus Pocus 2 and Disney+ series Andor.
