Anishinaabe comic debuts

Paul Rabliauskas, an Anishinaabe standup comedian, is starring in the CTV Comedy original series Acting Good. Set to air the first of 10 half-hour episodes on Monday, the show is loosely based on Rabliauskas's life. He stars as Paul who, after a botched attempt to move to Winnipeg, goes back to his eccentric family in the fly-in community of Grouse Lake First Nation. The show was shot on location in Manitoba this past spring. Pat Thornton, Billy Merasty, Roseanne Supernault, Gabriel Daniels, Tina Keeper, Avery Claudia Sutherland and Cheyenna Sapp also star.
