Set on the southernmost point of Nuns’ Island, Symphonia Viu is surrounded by a lush golf course and tranquil blue waters. Inspired by luxury resorts, it features an impressive lobby and lounge, along with a welcoming doorman to greet guests around the clock and a 24-hour concierge service.

Unlike most resorts, though, it’s just a stone’s throw from a cosmopolitan city.

“You don’t even feel like you’re in Montreal, but you’re just 15 minutes away from the downtown core. It almost feels like you’re on vacation when you’re actually home,” says Melissa Bell, the project administrator for the 43-storey tower.

“You’re next to a park and the golf course, plus the river is right there, just outside your window, so it’s very serene.”

The luxury project is 75 per cent sold but still has several available units that are part of its top-tier collections.

The first collection features large units boasting two bedrooms, a deluxe master bathroom, tenfoot ceilings and Miele appliances. Meanwhile, the second collection offers spacious three-bedroom units equipped with an impressive master bedroom and lavish ensuite bathroom, eleven-foot ceilings and sweeping balconies.

The Penthouse collection, situated between the 37th and 43rd floors, features spacious, multilevel penthouses adorned with stunning architectural staircases and expansive, luxurious private terraces.

There are also several one-bedroom units still available.

All Symphonia Viu’s units come with sweeping, floor-to-ceiling windows to take in the spectacular views. Each unit offers a large balcony and/or terrace, as well as plenty of built-in storage. Access to indoor parking is also part of the package, which is a great feature for downsizers and families.

“The remaining units are great for small families and couples,” says Bell. “Some even have three balconies. There are several with north-west views, so beautiful sunsets, or north-east-south views, so you get a bit of everything including downtown and the river.”

Units range from one- to three-bedrooms and measure between 680 square feet. to 4,000 square feet. Ceiling heights vary from nine to 11 feet, depending on the model.

The building comes with a wide range of amenities including a parking garage designed for electric and regular automobiles, plus sensor-operated doors and fobs facilitating access to elevators and a package retrieval system.

Other amenities include a bookable culinary kitchen, workstations and meeting rooms, a gym, yoga studio, along with indoor and outdoor pools complemented by a spa, sauna and heated relaxation basin.

The project also features an outdoor lounge exuding perfect vacation vibes, complete with private cabanas, comfortable lounge chairs and a charming pergola.

“The building offers a lot of beautiful amenities, the finishes are really high quality and you’re right on the water, just steps away,” says Bell.

This oasis is also easily accessible to other parts of the city, especially with the nearby REM.

“There are bus stops all along the way to the Développements Symphonia part of the island, which has really helped with transportation in the area,” Bells adds. “It’s very walkable and transit-friendly, plus there are the bike paths.”

Perfect for unwinding after a long day or enjoying outdoor adventures, this area features a nearby pathway leading from Lacoursière Park to L’orée-du-fleuve Park, catering to walkers, runners, and cyclists along the waterfront and through scenic routes.

“You could walk around the whole island, basically. There are parks nearby, it’s very family-friendly and there are lots of benches by the water, where it’s really quiet, so you can stop and read a book. It’s very serene in the summer, but it’s also very beautiful in the fall and spring. You’re right at the end of the island so it’s a very quiet area, and a very special spot.”

With its peaceful environment, the neighbourhood can be enjoyed on a stroll, bike ride or during a game of golf, but there are also several high-end restaurants, such as Les Enfants Terribles, and a spa nearby. Schools and parks are also plentiful.

With an upcoming occupancy date of fall 2024, and construction nearly complete, it’s the ideal time to invest in the development.
