Although we are fortunate to have fresh fruit in all seasons, the fruit selection that comes in summer is the absolute best. Two of this week’s recipes feature fresh fruits, plus a different kind of pie made with pinto beans — sometimes being compared to pecan pie. The recipes come from the cookbook produced by the Teulon, Man. Agricultural Society.
