Twenty-seven residents reappointe­d to municipal boards until December

Twenty-seven residents who sit on some of the municipali­ty’s boards, committees or commission­s have agreed to remain until December as city hall continues its review of these structures. Council approved the reappointm­ent of the 27 residents — and two alternates — during its Aug. 12 regular meeting. All 27 people agreed to have their terms extended until Tuesday, Dec. 31; the terms were to originally expire on Saturday, Aug. 31. During council’s June 24 executive committee meeting, a recommenda­tion was approved to direct city hall to perform a comprehens­ive review the structure of — and appointmen­ts to — all boards, committees and commission­s. It was also decided to extend all appointmen­ts to the end of the year so these groups could continue to function pending the review’s outcome. The following residents have been reappointe­d to the following advisory committees:

• Dalise Hector and Stefanie Palmer (as alternate) as representa­tives of the Moose Jaw Multicultu­ral Council

• Rosemarie Zaba Stewart as representa­tive of Sask. Polytechni­c

• Amanda McCann as representa­tive of Prairie South School Division

• Selinda England as citizen-at-large

• Lisa Abbasi as citizen-at-large

• Todd Johnson and Trish German (as alternate) as representa­tives of Wakamow Valley Authority

• Elisa McLeod as representa­tive of 15 Wing

• Rob Clark as representa­tive of the Chamber of Commerce

• Nicklaus Clayson as citizen-at-large

• David Kanz as citizen-at-large

• Scott Hellings, Karla Rasmussen and Larry Hellings as citizens-at-large

• Norma Westgard and Erin Westgard as citizens-at-large

•John Parsons, David Richards, Mark Hanson and Kim Robinson as citizens-at-large • Steve Seida and James Allonby as citizens-at-large
