Moose Jaw Heritage Award Nominations Open

Moose Jaw is very proud of their heritage buildings and each year the City’s Heritage Advisory Committee celebrates those that have invested time and effort into preserving them through various projects. Nominations are now open for the Heritage Advisory Committee’s 2018 Heritage Awards. The Heritage Advisory Committee is comprised of one member of City Council, one member from the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce, and four citizens-at-large. Their mandate is to provide the City with policy advice and recommendations on matters respecting: • designation of municipal heritage properties or districts;

• the development or alteration of heritage properties; and

• any other heritage property related matter that is referred to the Committee.
