MJ Po­lice Chief Rick Bourassa’s con­tract ex­tends for next five years

The City of Moose Jaw re-signed Moose Jaw Po­lice Chief Rick Bourassa to a con­tract ex­ten­sion for the next five years. Bourassa, who be­gan his ten­ure as Chief of Po­lice in Oc­to­ber of 2013, has signed a five-year ex­ten­sion, keep­ing him at the helm of the Moose Jaw Po­lice Ser­vice through 2023. Bourassa, who was born in Moose Jaw, served 30 years with the Regina Po­lice Ser­vice and two years with the Min­istry of Jus­tice be­fore as­sum­ing the role of Moose Jaw Chief of Po­lice in 2013.

Mayor Fraser Tolmie and Po­lice Chief Rick Bourassa an­nounced the ex­ten­sion of Bourassa’s ten­ure.
