Police in Moose Jaw are now in possession of several-thousand-dollars worth of illicit drugs after an early-morning find Thursday. While not able to release much in the way of details, police identified what appears to be crystal methamphetamine and cocaine, along with pills. Apart from indicating the stash was found on the East side of town, police would not speak to the circumstances of the find, which took place around 5 a.m. “Good morning #citymj drug dealers,” read a tweet from the Moose Jaw Police account around 9 a.m. “Please check your ‘supplies’ and let us know if you’re missing +$1000 of ‘meth’ and ‘coke.’ We found these discarded early this am. If you don’t want to contact us don’t worry, we’ll fingerprint the bags and be in contact with you. #Don’tDoDrugs.” Const. Kyle Cunningham told the Times-Herald that while not all the substances found have been definitively identified, police are confident they are worth thousands of dollars. The file remains under investigation.
