SCREAMING HEADS OF MIDLOTHIAN

The village of Burk’s Falls in the Almaguin Highlands region of Ontario is home to artist and sculptor Peter Camani’s unusual residence—a castle complete with sculpture gardens. The surreal property, locally referred to as Screaming Heads, features— you guessed it—hundreds of concrete screaming head sculptures that are placed throughout the grounds. There is also the huge and eerie Midlothian Castle—a medievallooking structure with turrets, towers and dragons! The amazing castle and grounds are also home, once a year, to the Harvest Music Festival.
