KIRSTIN LEHMANN

Kirstin is an early childhood educator, amateur children’s book author and illustrator, and home-schooling mum to her son, Sam. Originally from Calgary, Kirstin, her husband, Mathias, and three-year-old Sam, (Kirstin is also expecting another child shortly) now live in a small town near Edmonton. When not helping Sam walk 100 kilometres for kidney disease—read more about that in this issue’s Cause for Applause story on page 16—Kirstin enjoys spending time exploring her local community, reading, crafting and attempting to convince her massive garden to grow something other than weeds.
