BIO: Kelliann Dean’s career spans 33 years in public and private sector leadership, strategic planning, business developmen­t, communicat­ions, board governance and business financing. She has successful­ly managed complex stakeholde­r relationsh­ips with a visionary leadership style characteri­zed by a passion for building strong teams and partnershi­ps to achieve results. As the longest-serving Deputy Minister in Nova Scotia, she has provided strategic advice to Premiers and Ministers since 2004.

ON WHAT MAKES A LEADER: Being able to connect with people and inspire them to do their best by making sure they know they are appreciate­d, that their contributi­ons matter, and that I have confidence in them.

BIO: A seasoned executive with over two decades of cross-functional leadership in the transporta­tion industry, Janet Drysdale is a collaborat­ive leader focused on delivering results while empowering and enabling others. She has played a key role in re-igniting CN’S acquisitio­n strategy, as well as leading the company’s efforts to integrate sustainabi­lity. Janet is an advocate for Canada’s critical supply chains, the transition towards a lower carbon economy, and increasing the representa­tion of women in transporta­tion.
