BIO: A respected psychiatrist, author, educator and mental health advocate, Dr. Diane Mcintosh is responsible for optimizing all mental health-related products, services and innovations, and leveraging TELUS’ technology to improve health outcomes. She is the cofounder of Switchrx, an online psychotropic switching tool for prescribers and pharmacists, and Psychedup – a continuing medical education program developed to encourage appropriate and rational prescribing of psychiatric medications.

ON MOTIVATION: Throughout the COVID crisis, I’ve had a reminder that the world is full of good people. The news is mostly focused on unhappy, angry, disenfranchised, even evil people, yet most people are essentially good and kind and want the same things I want: to live in a peaceful society where we all have access to health care, so we can live a happy, healthy life, mentally and physically.
