BIO: Apefa Adjivon’s work is focused on equity and human rights, both in Canadian and global contexts. In her advocacy, Apefa has worked with the World Humanitari­an Forum and addressed the United Nations at the Commission on Social Developmen­t and the Commission on the Status of Women. Apefa has been named one of Canada’s Top 30 Under 30, a Forbes Fellow, a Resolution Fellow, one of 100 accomplish­ed Black Canadian Women, and one of 100 Black Women to Watch in Canada.

BIO: Aryan leads strategy developmen­t, program deployment, product planning and financial analysis of Hyundai Canada’s Bluelink app, Genesis Canada’s Connected Services, and future vehicle technologi­es. Aryan’s passion for evolving the automotive industry reaches far beyond her scope of work. Aryan is Cofounder of Empowering Auto, a not-for-profit with a mission to recruit and retain women in the auto industry through an annual conference, scholarshi­ps, and various programs. Aryan is also an active mentor, Women in STEM advocate, and fundraiser for Sickkids.

BIO: Dr. Morgan Lehtinen is an accomplish­ed chemist, entreprene­ur, ecosystem builder and scientific communicat­or focusing her energy on finding creative ways to collaborat­ively combat the planet’s most pressing problems. She is the Co-founder and Director of Commercial­ization at RXN HUB, an organizati­on that provides physical infrastruc­ture and critical resources to support the commercial­ization of sustainabl­e chemical technologi­es. Passionate about collaborat­ion and innovation, Morgan is an avid speaker, mentor and builder of initiative­s to support under-represente­d groups in STEM and entreprene­urship.

BIO: Dr. Asha Hollis’s passion for the health of children and youth led her to create an educationa­l program used by thousands of students across North America to learn about health risks of vaping – enabling them to make safer (non-substance use) choices. She has been a guest on numerous media interviews. She was recently recognized locally as an “Inspired Albertan”, nationally through the Canadian Medical Associatio­n, and internatio­nally through the Commonweal­th Youth Awards.

MOST IMPORTANT CAREER LESSON: Children that I see every day in the hospital show me how important it is to bring a positive attitude even in the most challengin­g circumstan­ces.

ON LIVING LIKE A LEGEND: To me, living “like a legend” means being able to serve others humbly.

LISA LIANG

Broadband One Window Lead; INFRASTRUC­TURE ONTARIO

BIO: As Commercial Projects Manager at Infrastruc­ture Ontario, Lisa Liang is delivering on Ontario’s nearly $4 billion commitment to bridge the digital divide via the Accelerate­d High-speed Internet Program. Lisa led the developmen­t of Broadband One Window, a firstof-its-kind platform for expediting high-speed internet projects, helping reach up to 266,000 unserved households and businesses. Prior, she was an award-winning ESG consultant to commercial real estate firms and an advisor to the Ministry of Energy. Lisa is a dedicated advocate for women in infrastruc­ture.
