the world’s largest airport operator says Toronto’s Pearson Internatio­nal Airport should develop firstclass shopping facilities to help lower steep charges on airlines and passengers. Canada’s biggest airport should mimic U.S. and European airports such as Gatwick, where people go to shop even when not travelling, according to Mark Knight from British Airports Authority USA. Pearson has overtaken Tokyo’s Narita as the most expensive airport in the world for airlines to land, according to a recent survey.
