National Post

Summer Mondays

- Douglas Kelly Publisher National Post

Dear Readers,

Three years ago, the National Post introduced a Tuesday-through-Saturday newspaper publication schedule through t he summer to help offset shifting industry conditions.

Change continues to sweep through the publishing sector, causing us to adapt our business model on a constant basis.

As a result, the Post will be following the same printing schedule this summer.

Effective July 2, the National Post will reintroduce a Tuesday-through-Saturday summer schedule. This means we will not be printing and distributing a Monday newspaper through the summer, including the Labour Day weekend. Monday newspaper delivery will resume Sept. 10.

Throughout the summer, regular Monday features such as FP Entrepreneur will be available online on Monday and in print on Tuesday.

In no way are we aban-

doning our commitment to producing great content for our loyal readership, which has always been a sevenday-a-week proposition. News happens every hour of every day and our talented staff will continue to report instantly on our two major online brands, nationalpost.com and financialpost.com, as well as our fully optimized mobile editions.

As we make o ur way through the transformation of modern media, we know we do so with your support because it is clear that thousands of Canadians see the National Post as a unique and essential voice in the media landscape.

We want you to know that we appreciate and thank you for your loyalty.

Please feel free to email me directly if you have a comment or an inquiry at douglaskelly@nationalpost.com.

Have a great summer.
