Moon Alert Caution: Avoid shopping or making important decisions until 6:45 p.m. ET today. After that, the Moon moves from Virgo into Libra.

Aries (March 21 — April 19) The next four to six weeks are the perfect time to take a vacation if you possibly can. This is the best time of year for you to party, play, enjoy sports events plus delight in the arts and playful activities with children. Romance and love affairs will flourish with style! (Sigh.)

Taurus (April 20 — May 20) Your attention now turns to home, family and domestic matters for the next month or longer. You might also be focused on home repairs as well as real- estate deals. Conversations with parents, family get-togethers and reunions are likely. (Bring good food and drink.)

Gemini (May 21 — June 20) You’re entering a busy six months ahead because you’re involved with short trips, increased reading and writing, running around doing errands and talking to everyone. But you will love this energetic pace because it’s interesting and exciting!

Cancer (June 21 — July 22) You’re never casual about money. (You hate to pay retail and you love sales.) Something draws your attention to cash flow, earnings and expenditures in the next six weeks. You’ll be watching your money. But at a deeper level, you might be wondering, “What’s it all about, Alfie?”

Leo (July 23 — Aug. 22)

Happy birthday! The Sun is now in your sign for the next month, energizing you for the rest of the year. It will also have the influence of attracting people and fortunate circumstances to you, so make the most of this! There’s no time like the pleasant.

Virgo (Aug. 23 — Sept. 22) Your personal year is ending. (Your birthday is a month away.) That makes this the perfect time to give some serious thought (in the next few weeks) to what you want your new personal year to be all about. Look back over this past year and ask yourself how well you are doing at the art of living?

Libra (Sept. 23 — Oct. 22) Music to your ears: you have a popular six weeks ahead to look forward to. You might make new friends. You will certainly be invited to events, especially with groups. Share your dreams with others because their feedback will help you.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 — Nov. 21) This is the only time of year when the Sun crosses the top of your chart acting like a spotlight on you. No wonder others notice you more than usual, especially authority figures — bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs and the police. But this light is flattering!

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 — Dec. 21) Do whatever you can during the next six weeks to break with your routine. Travel somewhere if possible. You want adventure and you want new experiences. Essentially, you want more out of life. Talk to people from different backgrounds. Capricorn (Dec. 22 — Jan. 19) The next six weeks will be rather intense for you. This intensity will definitely translate into passionate, sexual intensity, which is always fun. (Great diary fodder.) But you might also intensely dispute inheritances and shared property.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 — Feb. 18) For the next month the Sun will be as far away from your sign as it gets all year, which means you are going to need more sleep. Why? The Sun is your source of energy. Acknowledge your need for more rest and get it. Be kind to yourself.

Pisces (Feb. 19 — March 20) You’ll be increasingly gripped by the feeling that you want to be better organized. This is why you will be running around with an outboard motor on your ass for the next six weeks. You want to be efficient, effective and productive!

If Your Birthday Is Today Actor Daniel Radcliffe (1989) shares your birthday today. You are thoughtful, caring and compassionate. You are also a traditionalist who is often uncertain about your life direction. You love history and study, especially anything where you can investigate mysteries. Your sensitive nature requires you to build a shell to deal with your world. Your year ahead might be one of the most powerful years of your life. Dream big!
