On behalf of friendly Manitoba, welcome. Whether you are discovering our unique attractions as a visitor, or exploring job opportunities and looking to put down roots, there is something for everyone here in the heart of Canada.

One of the first things you will notice is the remarkable renaissance that is quickly transforming the face of our province. Families from all over the world are moving to Manitoba in record numbers. Construction is nearing completion on the Canadian Museum for Human Rights at The Forks, as well as the world’s largest urban polar bear habitat at Assiniboine Park Zoo. A beautiful new home for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at the University of Manitoba has just opened to rave reviews. And with the recent return of our beloved Jets to downtown Winnipeg, don’t miss the chance to experience a game with the most passionate fans in the NHL.

By taking a balanced approach that invests in critical infrastructure and protects services for families, we will keep growing our economy and create over 100,000 jobs within the next decade.

city you’ll encounter vibrant music and theatre festivals, a world-class ballet and symphony, as well as restaurant scene that inspires and surprises with its sheer diversity of authentic global cuisine. Not far beyond the city limits you’ll discover pristine forests, world-class beaches, unrivalled ecotourism opportunities, and historical sites that tell the story of Western Canada. The iconic Aboriginal heritage on which our province was founded has evolved into one of the most culturally-diverse and cosmopolitan centres to be found anywhere in the world.

The New York Times recently called Manitoba a “hub of parkaclad diversity.” We just call it home, and we look forward to welcoming you here.
