Managing director Jade Raymond leaving Ubisoft Toronto

Ubisoft Entertainm­ent SA announced on Monday that Jade Raymond, the managing director of Ubisoft Toronto and executive producer of notable games including Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Assassin’s Creed, is leaving the company. “This is one of the hardest decisions of my career, but the Toronto studio is strong and on a solid path,” said Ms. Raymond, pictured. Alexandre Parizeau, a founding member of Ubisoft Toronto who worked on the Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six franchises and is currently Ubisoft Toronto’s senior producer, replaces Ms. Raymond as the studio’s new managing director on Oct. 29. Ms. Raymond started in the video game industry as a programmer for Sony Corp. and then went to Electronic Arts Inc. before joining Ubisoft. Patrick O’Rourke, Financial Post
