Hi Angelika! You mentioned that your mother likes gentle humour and travel — and if she’s not yet read anything by Will Ferguson then she should stop everything she’s currently reading and pick up Beyond Belfast, Beauty Tips from Moose Jaw or Hitching Rides with Buddha. Once your reader is done gobbling those up, it should hopefully be time for Will’s new book Road Trip Rwanda, which comes out in September. This book, like his others, takes readers along for exciting, hilarious and poignant adventures. Ferguson is a Giller-winning author [he won for 419 in 2012] who is well-known for his humour and his travel writing. 419 is a little different than his other titles — more serious, still international in scope, but fictional (even though it is a totally believable story about the world’s most deceptive Internet scam — you might have even received an email in your own inbox once or twice from a Nigerian diplomat who wanted your banking or personal information). Anyway, anything by Will is awesome and I promise your reader won’t be disappointed! Christina, Sales
