Hydro One folly

Re: Wynne Waves Her Wand, Kelly McParland, May 21. Kelly McParland pokes serious holes in Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne’s plan to sell a stake in Hydro One. I’d raise another question: isn’t it pure folly to sell assets, then take the proceeds into revenue? This seems much like selling your home, then spending the proceeds on a fancy vacation and keeping the mortgage. Surely a banker of Ed. Clark’s esteem would advise the proceeds of any asset sale be used to pay down debt.
