Re: Not His Burden, Jonathan Kay, June 26. Left unspoken in U.S. President Barack Obama’s eulogy to Rev. Clementa Pinckney is the sensible notion that if only one of the members of the prayer group had been armed, the tragedy could have been averted. Likewise, given the appalling atrocities committed by the terrorist ISIL, America’s greatest contribution to the world should have been the Second Amendment.
