1. A man drives a vehicle through the gates of a gas factory in the French town of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, ramming it into gas canisters and causing an explosion. Two people are injured.

2. A severed head is found hanging at the factory’s gates next to flags with Arabic inscriptions on them. A suspect, Yassin Salhi, 35, is arrested soon afterward.
