Talk is cheap

Re: Welcome To Refugees Includes Health Care, letters to the editor, Dec. 11. Until such time as politicians, media types and now medical personnel are prepared to welcome refugees directly into their homes and treat said refugees pro bono, I will continue to support apparently desperately needy local charities without fanfare.

Talk is cheap and even cheaper when one gains personally from gratuitous caring.
