-

The sun shone, there were no pressing international crises and the schedule mainly consisted of appearances and light policy discussions with an agreeable Canadian. “Mrs. Grégoire-Trudeau is, like, my soulmate right now” — First Lady Michelle Obama Sophie on Grégoire- Trudeau at a p ress conference “Americans don’t refer to Canadians as foreigners. We are family” — Secretary State of John Kerry

“From my perspective, what’s not to like?” — Barack Obama, Trudeau’s after s aying agenda i s based “inclusivity” on and action on climate change
