Re: How Canada And Its Entrepreneurs Can Ensure They Are Part Of The Race To Innovation by Rick Spence, Feb. 18 Interesting comment: “Canada’s resource- heavy economy will see no renaissance without more science and discovery.”

Not to turn the story inside out but I say it is our scientific knowledge, and its application, that has made our natural resources valuable in the first place. (Dare I say “the science is settled?”)

Yes, more scientists will help make us innovate even better.

The real challenge is to have the feds, some provinces and a scattering of mayors get out of the way and let these commodities reach markets.
