2017 SUBARU BRZ GOES YELLOW WITH SPECIAL EDITION MODEL

Subaru is adding a limited edition model to the BRZ family for 2017 — and it isn’t discreet. It’s called the BRZ Series Yellow and as the name suggests, it’s very yellow. The paintwork is accented by black badges and trim pieces here and there. Inside, the theme continues with yellow stitching and accents on the seats, steering wheel, shifter and handbrake boots, dashboard and door handles. Aside from the cosmetic tweaks, the Series Yellow is essentially a BRZ with the new-for-2017 Performance Package, which adds Brembo brakes, upgraded Sachs dampers and 17-inch wheels. Power comes from a 2.0- litre boxer four, which has a slight power bump to 205 horsepower for 2017. Given the standard Performance Package trimmings, the only transmission is a six-speed manual.
