PEOPLE POST STUFF because it can get them more popular.

Girls use social media to make fun of other people, like if best friends get into problems over a guy they post pictures and say stuff and it becomes bigger. A girl has a problem with one person and posts something and all of the other people start jumping in and they don’t even know who the person was and now everyone’s laughing and they just want to be part of it and it makes no sense.

Guys don’t really do that — they fight it out instead of going on the Internet.

People post stuff because it can get them more popular — smoking, going to parties. If a person’s popular, they can use social media to change everyone’s perceptions. If a guy makes fun of a girl and he’s popular, other people will listen to what he says.

The Internet is dangerous — once you put something out there, it’s out there forever. I’ve seen nudes from friends. Girls get exposed — guys, too — and it’s weird that it’s popular. No one’s asked me before but I’d say no. It’s not for me. You can’t erase it.

My parents don’t look at my social media at all.
