Selecting Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year
Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year Award was founded in 1990. This year marks the 27th edition of this distinguished award. Presented by Bennett Jones, along with founding sponsor Caldwell Partners, and media sponsors National Post and Business News Network, the award celebrates a Canadian business chief executive who exemplifies leadership, excellence and integrity and who has built a globally com- petitive organization. Canada’s CEO of the Year independent advisory board comprises more than 20 of the country’s most respected business leaders and academics, including past honorees of the award. The board meets annually to select the current year’s recipient based on five key criteria: vision and leadership, corporate performance, global competitiveness, innovation and social responsibility.
