Terry Glavin’s engaging opinion piece is chock- full of cheap shots and can be dismissed by asking: could you imagine Justin Trudeau ever saying “I will accept the will of the people in this election, if I win …” Compare and contrast the main advisers Trudeau listens to with Steve Bannon, a senior counsellor to U. S. presidentelect Donald Trump. Under a lot of pressure, Trump said he “disavows” the far- right that celebrates his election “victory,” but not that he condemns them.
