Soft on Wynne

Re: The ‘Mistake’ That Broke Hydro, Kelly McParland, Nov. 24

There was a time in the past where the Ontario legislature was a rancorous den of The Queen’s Loyal Opposition Party nailing the government’s feet to the ground and almost bringing the ministers to tears. That time is no more. Most of the electorate could hardly name the leader of the Opposition never mind know anything about his policies. Patrick Brown and the Ontario Progressive Conservatives are partly to blame for that. If ever there was an Ontario government to be shamed on a daily basis in the legislature, then Kathleen Wynne’s Liberal government is the one. Ontario’s opposition parties need to step up to the plate. Gordon Akum, Toronto
