WHAT HAIR CARE AND TEQUILA BUILT (AND SOLD)

-

‘ Wild times with wildebeest’ could have been your next party invitation, were you to have bought the 96-acre Austin-area ranch that Patrón spirits and Paul Mitchell hair-care founder John Paul DeJoria just sold. The 7,500-square-foot house sold for $6.93 million, fully furnished, and came with a pool, two barns (each with housing for caretakers) and 120 exotic animals. It was DeJoria’s second home in the area. TV producer Jonathan Nowzaradan will be moving into his new digs, where it feels like “you’re on an Africa safari.” It also came with a 2,700-sq.-ft underground bomb shelter, fully stocked with food and water; it has three bedrooms. Nowzaradan will probably use its main space for a games room, but “I suppose if Armageddon comes, I’ll be prepared,” he told wsj.com. Great, but does it have stalls for the antelopes?
