‘FULL HOUSE’ CREATOR FRANKLIN BUYS THE HOME USED IN SITCOM
Show creator Jeff Franklin bought the row house that was the front of the Tanner home in the 1980s sitcom for about US$4 million, the Los Angeles Times reports. It’s a stereotypical San Francisco house with a raised main floor and large bay windows. It previously sold for US$1.85 million in 2006. He plans to redo the inside and to preserve the outside of the home for fans. The three- storey home was built in 1883 by Charles Lewis Hinkel. Not all of the home was used on the television show. What didn’t you see? A kitchen, which has since been updated, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, within the 2,985 square feet of living space. Franklin, who also worked on Fuller House, the Netflix sequel to the original series, recently sold a US$20.2 million house in Hollywood Hills.
