De NIRO JABS AT ‘BLATANTLY STUPID’ TRUMP AGAIN

If you aren’t already aware, Robert De Niro does not like Donald Trump. In fact, he has referred to the U. S. president as “blatantly stupid,” “a punk,” “a dog,” “a pig,” and “a bullshit artist,” once going so far as to share his desire to punch the man. At the National Board of Review awards gala, while introducing Best Actress winner Meryl Streep, he drew comparisons between Streep’s latest film The Post, which chronicles the time The Washington Post published the Pentagon Papers, and the current state of American politics. “It was fascinating to watch The Post,” he said. “The movie gave us glimpses of President Nixon as delusional, narcissistic, petty, vindictive, nasty, and batshit f-- king crazy. ... Ah, the good old days.”
