Last year, own­ers Susur Lee, Kai Bent-Lee and Levi Ben­tLee came un­der fire for allegedly tak­ing tips from staff mem­bers to il­le­gally pay for kitchen mis­takes and dine-and­dash­ers. The restau­rant has since is­sued an apol­ogy, but it ap­pears it could not re­cover from bad press.
