A NEW RECORD: TRAVOLTA EARNS THIRD 0% SCORE
John Travolta logged his third zero per cent, certified “rotten” score on movie review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes for the biopic Gotti, directed by Entourage’s Kevin Connolly. The movie, as the title subtly suggests, follows the story of mob boss John Gotti, Sr., who, of course, is played by Travolta, pictured. The criticism surrounding the film is that it tries to spin Gotti into an anti-hero for
New York City. The New York Post wrote in its review, “I’d rather wake up next to a severed horse head than ever watch Gotti again. ... The finished product belongs in a cement bucket at the bottom of the river.” The actor’s other two stinkers are 1983’s Staying Alive and 1993’s Look Who’s Talking Now!, which means there is no era in which Travolta isn’t, well, horrible.
