And the nominees are ...

Vice garners six Golden Globe nominations

- Sadaf ahSan

This year’s Golden Globe nominations are as polarizing as they typically are, with Vice, the Dick Cheney biopic starring a transformed Christian Bale leading the pack with six nominations.

It’s followed closely by front-runners A Star is Born, The Favourite and Green Book, all of which picked up five nominations each.

When it comes to television, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story leads with four nominations, while Sharp Objects, Homecoming and The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel, along with four other series, picked up three each. ACS and Maisel dominated the Emmys earlier this year, and are expected to make a similar killing at this year’s ceremony.
