Gomez to appear at We day

Selena Gomez will return to public life with an appearance at the 2019 WE Day California festival. The singer and actress, pictured, who stepped back from the spotlight last year to focus on her health, will join Meghan Trainor, Chance The Rapper, Natalie Portman, Mahershala Ali and Joe Jonas, among others, at the salute to social change at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., on April 25. Neil Patrick Harris will host the event, while other WE Day events also take place across the globe. Postmedia columnists Craig and Marc Kielburger are the co-founders of the WE movement. Gomez, a former host, says, “I’m so proud to celebrate young people’s year of social change and to remind them that together, we are an unstoppable movement dedicated to a brighter and better tomorrow.”
