The Baycrest Foundation Description Local philanthropists and art lovers kicked off an intimate evening with a champagne reception at the Four Seasons Hotel, where artist Gina Godfrey unveiled her “blank brain” sculpture transformed into a one-of-a-kind piece of art in support of The Brain Project. The annual initiative raises awareness and funds for brain health and research at Baycrest. Guests then toured the private residences of several of Toronto’s most prolific private art collectors, where they took in a mix of contemporary masterpieces, New York artists of the mid20th century and classic Canadiana among other fascinating works from around the globe.

“If we can delay the onset of dementia by five years, we could reduce its prevalence in the population by about one-third. That is a significant number. The Yogen Früz Brain Project challenges Canadians of all ages to learn how they can delay the onset of dementia.”
– Josh Cooper, president and CEO of the Baycrest Foundation
