There was a lot of interest in this four- bedroom, three- bathroom sidesplit in the Princess- Rosethorn neighbourhood near Dundas and Islington in Etobicoke. There was one good offer from a nice family, says listing agent Francesco Porretta. It sold after being on the market for one day.

“It appealed to people looking for a four- bedroom home that with minor work could be a family home and not a starter home.”

Porretta says one of the best features is the large lower- level family room, which has a woodburning fireplace. The lower level also has a den and a bedroom, offering an option for an in-law suite.
