In the area, it’s “pretty rare to have a two-storey unit with no one living above you. It can definitely be considered the uptown unicorn,” says listing agent Ramin Khaze. The penthouse is “truly a shining star in size, with over 1,550 square feet of living space and a fabulous terrace.”

The suite was listed in the fall of 2019 with another company for three months and didn’t sell. Khaze says the key strategy in selling the unit was pricing it properly, as well as having his stager open up the space. “This was done using the client’s own furniture and adding accessories/art to make the apartment pop. Of course great photography and 4K video always help….using the right stager for certain goals you have with a property cannot be stressed enough.”

The unit was listed near the end of January and sold in nine days after about four showings.

Early winter sunsets are incredible with planes landing or taking off in the backdrop. It’s just phenomenal.”

Due to COVID-19, the buyers have decided not to visit before closing, he says. “They have already booked the move, so everything seems to be pretty straightforward.”
