Re: The WE Charity Scandal Is Far From Over, Rex Murphy, July 7.
I wish I could agree with rex Murphy that the WE Charity scandal is far from over, but how many times has our vain, selfish prime minister gotten away with this kind of stuff? Our big national television networks, especially the treacherous publicly funded CBC, give controversies like this a cursory glance, then swiftly move on, while Canadians inexplicably stay silent.
I just hope that when this prime minister calls an election, Canadians will remember how he squandered our tax dollars in the good times to buy the last election and is still doling out relief money, which is estimated to push the debt to $1 trillion before he is finished.

In politics, as with most things in life, it’s three strikes and you’re out. But not with our current prime minister, who appears to have nine lives. As Canadians wonder about this exception to the rule, I may have the answer.
It is evident that our country is not run by its prime minister, but by the Prime Minister’s Office. And it has yet to find a suitable replacement front man (or woman). John P. A. Budreski, Vancouver.
