Sir John A.’s anniversary

I appreciated reading brian Platt’s story about brian Porter’s portrayal of our first prime minister, Sir John A. macdonald.

I noticed the story mentioned that 2015 was the 200th anniversary of macdonald’s death. However, he was born in 1815, on Jan. 10 or 11, so 2015 marked the 200th anniversary of macdonald’s birth, not his death.
