How to create jobs

Revising the mandate of the Bank of Canada to include responsibility for achieving higher employment makes little sense when we have a federal government that contradicts that goal by refusing to acknowledge the opportunities for job creation that exist in Canada’s oil and gas sector. If the Liberals wish to “create” one million jobs, they should begin by getting their foot off the throat of this sector and undertake to champion projects such as Energy East.
