Montreal’s downtown core remains largely devoid of office workers, a new poll suggests. Sixty- two per cent of businesses that answered a recent Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal poll said the proportion of employees who are back at their desks is no more than 20 per cent, according to a statement issued Wednesday. Though almost 80 per cent of respondents in the survey are confident they’ve put in place the necessary health and safety measures, only 38 per cent said they expect to reach 25 per cent office capacity in November.
