Re: PM not the “reset” leader, Chris Selley, Nov. 24

Justin Trudeau is happy to read the prepared speeches given to him. His speechwriters make him sound well- spoken, insightful and intelligent. Yet, Trudeau never answers questions about what he has just said. If he believes that Conservatives are trafficking in conspiracy theories, he should prove it. He should be forced to explain what he meant by the pre- pandemic efforts to reimagine economic systems. Until we know what he means, there will be much speculation about the intention behind his words. Unfortunately, in Canada, we have no way of forcing him to explain. The Speaker of the House is ineffective in getting members of the government to answer the question posed to them. If Trudeau is not forced to answer in the House, then what function does the sitting of Parliament serve?

So the prime minister is “slightly to the left of centre”? He’s destroyed the engine of our economy in Alberta with mindless regulations and, through his provincial minions (regardless of what banner they fly under) is working overtime to shut down the rest of the country. And his favourite country is China, but he’s only “slightly” to the left of centre? Is there a public relations job in the PMO in Mr. Selley’s cards?
