Anakin Skywalker — won 33 per cent of the 10,000- vote tally, beating out 15 others to become the sci- fi franchise’s most notorious baddie. “Never underestimate the power of the Dark Side,” said Huw Fullerton, Radiotimes.com’s sci-fi and fantasy editor. “Star Wars films and TV series may come and go, but Darth Vader will always be the ultimate villain. Truly, he is the master.” Vader was the main villain of the original 1977 film, and remains central to the Star Wars saga. Played by David Prowse, but voiced in a recording booth by actor James Earl Jones, the character has more recently been played by Hayden Christensen.
