MAJORITY OF AMERICANS WANT TRUMP REMOVED

Fifty- seven per cent of Americans want President Trump immediately removed from office, a Reuters/ Ipsos poll has found. The national survey conducted Thursday and Friday also showed that 70 per cent of Trump voters opposed the actions of those who broke into the Capitol. The same number disapproved Trump urging followers to march to the Capitol. Altogether, nine in 10 Democrats and two in 10 Republicans want Trump out before Jan. 20. Thirty per cent said he should be removed by the 25th Amendment, 14 per cent by impeachment and 13 per cent by resignation. Twelve per cent supported Wednesday’s action, while 79 per cent — including two-thirds of Republicans and Trump voters — called the participants either “criminals” or “fools.” The online poll surveyed 1,005 American adults.
