Too late to kill the dragon?

-

B.C.’S Site C hydro power boondoggle, Terence Corcoran, Jan. 7

I agree Site “C” should be killed, along with the jobs of the incompetent bureaucrats who failed to undertake the necessary geotechnical studies required to reveal any innate “instability” of the site at the beginning of the project’s due diligence phase.

And now, $ 6 billion later, we should be doubly wary of rent- seeking “linear programming optimization” models being used to justify an even more zealous waste of taxpayer money to be sacrificed on the climate change altar.

Do we not already know from experience that today’s “estimated” cost of $10.7 billion is a Trojan Horse that will certainly lead to another few billion being wasted, and by then, too late to kill the dragon?
