‘Repeached’ hits a note Picture perfect

Re: Front-page headline, Jan. 14

I would like to extend a big congratulation to National Post — the headline “repeached” made my day. I searched the internet for the word and did not get a hit from any major dictionary. However, I am confident it is a word that may become commonplace and a strong contender for the Oxford dictionary’s word of the year for 2021.

“repeached” is succinct and definitely topical. The only drawback is that it has only happened once and can only be correctly applied to one person.

Re: Front page photo, Jan. 13 The National Post’s front page photo of u.s. President donald Trump standing in front of a section of the u.s.-mexico border fencing says it all — Trump really does have his back against the wall.
