Those looking to buy a new groovy all-electric VW Bus will have to hang on to their tie-dyed shirts for just a little while longer. According to The Man, a variety of drags have delayed the vehicle’s introduction by about a year. Bummer. Scott Keogh, Volkswagen of America chief executive, told Automotive News the vehicle will arrive in North America in 2023. If all goes as planned, there will be options for two trims: an all-wheel-drive version making over 350 horsepower, or a less-expensive rear-drive setup, which will be good for about 270 hp. Both will be much more fleet-of-foot than the OG Bus.
